Yellow. Yellow was difficult for me. I realised early in the week that there's not a whole lot of yellow in my life. Or the things I saw that were yellow were not easy to photgraph as I was zooming down Tennessee Street. So I finally photographed what's sitting in front of me all day long - the objects on my desk. Can you tell I have a rather broad range of musical taste? Of course as I was uploading the desk pict
ure, I realised I also had this photo that I'd taken at Farmer's Market. I don't know if it exactly Laser Lemon, but I guess it will do, too.
Now on to works in progress. I finished my aprons for Tie One On last night, but I haven't had time to take a proper photo - or iron them - yet. I do have this little bunny in the works as a big sister gift for a little friend about to get a baby brother.
I also have three more belly dance performances this weekend as part of the Kansas City Fringe Fest. The shows are $5 a piece and just under an hour. Come out to the Just Off Broadway Theater tonight at 9:30 (WAAYYYY past my bedtime!) or tomorrow at 3:30 or 6:30 (I think). I'll be there - literally - with bells on!
But the best part of the weekend will be - Aidin & Eliot coming home! I miss my babes!
Happy Friday, everybody!
