In the interest of fair play, here are some more Girl Scout pictures, mostly from when I lived in London. They are pretty crappy, as I tried to photograph the pictures in albums, and the second half of my London stay is not even represented because I couldn't find that album, but anyway.....
In that first picture, Rachael is on the left and our friend Julie is in the middle. Julie was a bridesmaid in both of our weddings. Yes we look bleary-eyed. We'd been celebrating Rachael's 22nd birthday! I took this in a tube station somewhere.
This last picture is me with my other dear friend, Julie. We're planning to visit her and her family in England next year.
And it's Friday, so I'm still trying to finish my redwork swap. My swap partner mailed hers yesterday, so I was hoping to mail mine today. No dice. I got sidetracked by my Amy Butler sew along project. It was calling my name.
I'm hoping for a crafty outing with Michelle tomorrow (okay, Michelle?), but my husband wants me to come home and help clean house. That doesn't sound like fun. Ah well. Maybe I can fit in both.
And lastly, would you please send out some good vibes in to the universe for my brother's mother-in-law? She has been waiting at the Mayo Clinic since AUGUST for a lung transplant (the result of taking fen-phen). She got the call yesterday and had surgery overnight. Things appear to have gone well and it seems the lungs were a good match size-wise. (Peggy is a tiny little woman.) So keep you fingers crossed and say a little prayer to whomever you pray, please.
Have a great weekend.
